Thackeray group MP Sanjay Raut has been outspoken in his criticisms of the grand alliance government, particularly targeting the BJP. This has intensified the political climate in the state. Recently, Raut has aimed his remarks at Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
He questioned, “What sort of Operation Tiger is the Shinde group conducting? They’re in power now, so it’s Operation Tiger. If they lose their position tomorrow, their entire structure will collapse. Hand us the ED and CBI for just two hours, and we’ll have Amit Shah joining our party.”
Raut further asserted, “As soon as the ED is in control, everyone associated with the Bawankulas will be knocking at Kalanagar’s door. Don’t flaunt your power to us. We’ve tasted power too, but we’ve never wielded it in such a twisted, vengeful manner.”

Additionally, he claimed, “The official death toll in Delhi stands at 30, but according to my sources, at least 120 to 150 lives have been lost in the stampede. The government is concealing the true number of fatalities, misleading people at the behest of the BJP regarding the Mahakumbh.”
Raut’s comments have further deepened the rift between the BJP and the Thackeray group in the state, potentially igniting further political tensions. It remains to be seen how the BJP will respond to Raut’s allegations.
