Indian Premier League 2025 Updates
The possible schedule of IPL has come to light and the first match will be held at Eden Gardens. The first match will be between Royal Challengers Bangalore and KKR. Importantly, the eighteenth season of IPL is likely to start from March 22 instead of March 21.
Last year, Kolkata Knight Riders won the title. Therefore, as per tradition, this time the opening match will be held at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Also, last season’s runners-up Sunrisers Hyderabad will also play their first match at their home ground.
The BCCI has not yet officially announced the schedule for the IPL. However, it is known that the board has informally shared the dates of important matches with the franchises. According to sources, the final match will be held at Eden Gardens on May 25.
IPL 2025 SCHEDULE UPDATE
Initially, BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla had indicated that the IPL would start on March 23. But it is now seen that the BCCI has changed these dates and the complete schedule can be announced in a day or two.
