Mujeeb made his international debut for Afghanistan at just 16 years old and transitioned to the IPL with Kings XI Punjab in 2018 at 17, making him the youngest player to participate in the league. He also played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2021 and has amassed an impressive record across a total of 300 matches, taking 330 wickets at a commendable economy rate of 6.5.
